Upper and Lower Respiratory Infection Review and Updates
Acute respiratory infections (ARIs) are major public health issue and a major cause of morbidity and mortality, especially in the young population. ARIs include a diverse group of diseases ranging from self-limiting illnesses to exteme morbid diseases. The most common ARIs are otitis media and bronchiolitis and pneumonia. Disease presentations are similar in most cases and a wide variety of microbes are contributing to different types of respiratory diseases. Therefore there is a need to identify the proper management, the right choice of the medication and preventive measures.
Objectives:
